Final form and Concept
I have always found a light bulb to be very basic and rustic. When I first thought about picking the bulb as my object for this presentation, those were the two words that jumped out at me when I asked myself the question, what does a light bulb mean to me? Thus, the final form that I derived carries the essence of my object, that being Basic and Rustic. My final form is simple, yet eloquent in it's own right.
When I look at my final form, I see a variety of things. It could be a hair stick, but also a mike (microphone). Why, it also looks like the broken handle of a cricket bat, and a tipi (a special kind of tent used only by the native tribes of Red Indians in the United States). Speaking as a girl, to me, it also looks a bit like a small vial of nail paint. It could mean a lot of different stuff to a lot of different people. People's perspective and imagination that can make it look like a tons of other things.
